Simon & Garfunkel's 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' was released in 1970, their fifth and final album. It reached number one in multiple countries around the world and the title track, 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', topped the singles chart for six weeks. To commemorate its 55th anniversary this reissue comes in a 7" paper jacket sleeve on the hi-res SACD format for the first time. Incudes obi strip and booklet.

  1. An SACD disc with one or more Direct Stream Digital (DSD) layers, designed to play on an SACD player only

  2. A hybrid SACD containing an additional Compact Disc Digital Audio (CDDA) layer that can be played on any standard CD player

This is a hybrid SACD and will play on any standard CD player, but only at conventional CD quality. To play the DSD layer requires an SACD compatible player.
