Sting rose to global superstardom as the frontman for The Police. Formed in London in 1977 with Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland, the band quickly became a dominant force in the new wave scene. Hits like 'Roxanne', 'Every Breath You Take', & 'Message in a Bottle' propelled them to massive commercial success. Despite their acrimonious split in 1986, Sting embarked on an equally successful solo career, further cementing his legacy.
